Old vs New

So this blog is about the logo change for the Jc Penney's stores and how the they compare from old vs new. Just looking at the two different logos and I can see why they changed it to what they did. Because the old logo just said JC Penney on it where as the new one says jcp(in a red box) and the enney following not in a box at all just in white or whatever color they choose to put behind it. The reason behind this I believe is because everyone refers to it as jcp from the customers to the workers.

As for how I feel about the logo change im rather indifferent because either way it looks good but the new version is hitting home with a younger generation, but I know that some people feel different about it because my fiance works at JC Penney and I've talked to a lot of the workers about and it and its pretty much across the board.

Inspiration post

So really not one thing inspires me for each project that I do it is usually more then one item that inspires me. Like for instance the fact that I am a GIT major is because of my favorite website Rooster Teeth Productions which makes the popular web series RedvsBlue. But if i were to use a certain project that inspired me is well when i used a picture of my late pet ferret Gwin, she was asleep and i took a picture of her and I used that to make that into a logo for my logo assignment in Digital File Prep and I called it Sleeping Ferret Productions but know it is Sleeping Ferret Designs.

Hello everyone out in blogger world my name is David Staton and i set this blog up for me and for a class that i am currently in a class called Web Site Design at Pittsburg State University. A little more about me I am from Cherryvale, Kansas I am currently engaged to my fiance Heather, we will be getting married in May a week after graduation... wish us luck. We have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 ferret, her name is Gwin, and I love playing video games, designing random stuff, and photography, but not in that order.
